and the biggest we were not sticking our nose in matters that did not concern us. We were not in an endless and purposeless (to the USA). Bush was elected (????) and we are at war the deficit is out of reach the countries unemployment rate isincreasing everyday (for those that say it is going down it isn%26#039;t people are out of benefits) and no one is sure Bush%26#039;s true involvement in the Middle East conflicts. So why not see if Hilary can point the country in the right direction? She does have a lot more experiance and if she can not do this Obama can then run with more experiance. I think Obama should side with Hilary and we can have the First woman President and first Black Vice-President%26lt; Obama can have major input and gain experience at the same time and that would be a good thing. What do you think of my fairy tale?
When Bill Clinton ran the country people had jobs, the deficit was in the black (the country was making money)yes loans
You mean when Gingrich and the Reps formed the %26quot;Contract with America%26quot; and balanced the budget after they swept into control of Congress, or are you doing the classic Clinton revisionist history lesson for the day?
When Bill Clinton ran the country people had jobs, the deficit was in the black (the country was making money) loan
I%26#039;m not in total agreement of your fairy tale, but I do respect your thoughts!|||The Republicans lost, and still lose elections whenever they try to act like Democrats. It%26#039;s happening even now.
Bill never got more than 50% of the vote, and would not have even won if it hadn%26#039;t been for Ross Perot.
Bill did nothing to stop the first terrorist attacks.
The Democrats lost the House and the Senate under him.
He only won in %26#039;96 because the Republicans ignored the people that would normally vote for them.
Millions of white people like me threw in the towel on diversity and multiculturalism thanks to his racist affirmative action policies. I will never vote for a Democrat ever again thanks to Bill. He appointed the most disgusting Supreme Court Justice we have ever had- Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Both parties are in bed together. The Republicans could%26#039;ve gone for the throat. They could%26#039;ve had all 50 Governors, all 100 Senators, and at least 75% of the House. Instead they acted like RINOs.
That is why they lost this past Fall.
The only reason why the Republicans will even win the Presidency next year is because there are hundreds of millions of americans who will never vote for a COMMUNIST SOCIALIST like Hillary, nor will they vote for a LEFTIST, MUSLIM black man.|||fast forward to today..people DO have jobs as unemployment is only 5%. The Bush economy has been outstanding until very recently and has been compared favorably to Clinton%26#039;s and Bush accomplished all this despite 2 wars, 9/11, Katrina, the Enron scandal, etc.. because of the Bush tax cuts. Clinton was handed a sound, if not great, economy and he added to that surplus by cutting spending (gutting) our Military. Also, had he taken strong action when the World Trade Centers got hit on HIS watch and taken out Osama Bin laden when he had tha chances perhaps we wouldn%26#039;t be at war now. He left his mess for the next President so welcome to the world today!|||and they all live happily ever after, *kiss* good night sweet heart
whats more important to you? not having a deficit? or not having citizens murdered? people don%26#039;t want to remember all the other action al queda did against America, we are talking about the 91 trade center attacks, we are forgetting the three embassies they bombed, and then when offered a detained bin laden by the Sudanese government bill Clinton rejected the offer under the grounds that we didn%26#039;t have enough to try him on, THEN they murdered over 3000 innocent citizens in America, if bill Clinton (with a republican congress) can fix 40 years of deficit cold war spending in 8 years then I%26#039;m not too worried about 7 years of war time deficit spending, a deficit that wouldn%26#039;t have occurred had osama or Saddam been handled properly the first time we delt with them and yes bush 41 and the U.N. are just as guilty for the Saddam mistake|||And we were in a recession when he left office.|||This is just as you said, a fairty tale.
Country in the black? You probably forget who. since the election of 1994 controlled the money, yep, the Republicans. Also, jobs? remember who passed NAFTA, one o fhe big reasons for our sorry job situation today? yep, Bill Clinton. He not only was in favor, and talked up the bill, but failed to attempt any veto when it came to his desk.
Another Clinton in the White House would be a disaster and a mistake.|||Perhaps you should check your facts. The country started it%26#039;s worst string of unemployment the last two years Clinton was in office. Staying out of %26quot;other countries%26#039; business results in things like 9/11. Hillary is not the answer and is so polarizing that it will ensure a republican President if she wins her party%26#039;s nomination.|||It%26#039;s a fairy tale and you%26#039;re ill-informed about Hillary%26#039;s experience compared to Obama.
You over estimate Hillary%26#039;s experience. For example Hillary wasn%26#039;t even talking to Bill when he was dealing with the terrorist issues of his presidency. She was mad at him over the Lewinsky affair. So much for terrorist experience.
If Hillary gets the democratic nomination she will likely have to find another veep . In my estimation, neither of them will run as VP with the other once the nominee is chosen. But politics makes for strange bedfellows and things can change fast.
Many presidents have had no more experience than Obama or Hillary. Lincoln for one, JFK another.|||I%26#039;m just for Hillary|||I miss the 90%26#039;s, well at least %26#039;93-%26#039;00!
