Was the FDR's New Deal Policy a sucess?

The definition of sucess is undefined and open to question. Evaluate the question using evidence such as statistics, to support your point of view.

If I was to argue that it was successful in the sense that it lowered the unemployment rate greatly in comparison with before the policies were implemented, what kind of sources could be used to support that?

ya it worked but it worked very slowly and the bad had to get much much worse before it could get better. he raised taxes so that he could make more jobs but this meant people who were already poor had to pay ever more taxes. what would have been better would have been to CUT taxes dramatically, then people would have more money to spend, they could get the things they needed and as people spend more they make more as companies do more business they grow and hire more people

lower taxes = more money = more spending = more jobs = more money = more spending = more jobs and on and on and on

look up reaganomics this will impress your teacher
