There isn%26#039;t really any reason, based on a unimpassioned evaluation of the constitution, and, the march of individual freedoms the west has embraced for 1,000 years, to not award same gender couples the right to marry, and, be legally recognized as such.

I have a same gender couple that lived next to me raising two children. They are treated well and work hard on their house and yard, and, one leads a professional career with a well known organization.
