INTRODUCTION
War is a fertile soil for intolerance. In times of dispute, prejudice dominate the discourse and disrespect waters the hatred between the warring groups especially if there wasn鈥檛 any initiative to bridge the gabs between the different point of views as an attempt to find new opportunities for peaceful and prosperous life.
Though war is usually between governments for political and economical interests, victims are usually regular citizens who are wounded, killed, displaced and psychologically afflicted. Those victims bear their pain all their lives long without receiving any kind of support and usually their reaction would be represented in negative feelings toward the people who caused or helped in causing the psychological pain they are going through. Also, victims tend to dehumanize the nations of the governments caused their pain , building negative images basing on the negative experience they had been through forgetting to differentiate between the culture of politics and the culture of human beings.
This is very true when it is coming to Palestinians 鈥ithout thinking of why, how ,where, and whose mistake it is, Palestinian human beings are not being treated fairly . Since 2000, 4570 Palestinian citizen have been killed, 800 of them are school students, 30818 Palestinians have been injured out of which 3530 have become disabled, and 250376.9 donums of the Palestinian land have been destroyed by confiscation, razing, trees%26#039; uprooting and home demolishing.
Additionally, we can%26#039;t ignore economical hardship Palestinians are going through due to the imposed checkpoints and the segregation wall, unemployment rate is now 70% and poverty rate is increasing especially after the international boycott for the Palestinian government making it unable to pay the salaries of governmental employees who constitute 32% of the Palestinian people.

Your report is too one-sided. You forgot to mention how the Palestinians fire rockets at Israel from the roofs of residential homes where women and children live, and elected a terrorist group that wants to eradicate Israel to represent their government.
Your writing is great propaganda, but an essay is supposed to cover both sides of the story.

Intellectually youve covered all the main points and your numbers are accurate. But the costs of war are not numbers. When I was watching the news the last couple of days I was struck by the faces of the people in Iraq. Before there was anger and I understood that as anger has concrete roots that can be traced to issues that can be addressed. But what I saw in these faces was rage. And where there is rage reason is put to bed. This is no longer an insurgancy but now has crossed that terrible line into civil war. Its more than numbers its so much more than politics or religion. I recently answered a question here that dealt with whether revenge was worth the price. My answer was never as the price is too high. Justice can never be found at the end of the barrel of a gun. There is a sense of hopelessness everywhere on this planet with few exceptions. There is a cycle/culture of violence everywhere from the streets of our cities to the furtherst points on the globe. Some where somehow each of us has to accept personal responsiblity and beginning with our own lives break this destructive cycle. It begins with one person and it can grow. Find solutions get you elected leaders to listen. I am from the Woodstock generation so I know it can be done. Take risks. Insist on justice as right for every person on this planet. Poverty is a big issue. People who have food, medical care, a roof over their heads and honest work for fair pay do not blow themselves up. These are achieveable goals. The United States has got to start doing the right things for the right reasons. Not necessarily those that are politcally expediant. I could go on and on. But this is a start. Be a responsible citizen. Thats a real good start. If you want to talk more my name is Carol and my email address is cyberdrifter@verizon.net. Take care Keep Caring|||The culture of human beings? What%26#039;s that?? You make a good case for the Palestinians to give up war, maybe the Koran and to get serious about developing a culture that relies on a practical understanding of everyday life so they can create freedom, peace and weath for themselves and those around them. Here%26#039;s looking to a positive future!
