I live in Michigan where liberals are in charge. Perfect example of the horrific path of a liberal.

Michigan%26#039;s July unemployment rate was 7 percent, compared with 4.8 percent for the nation. Michigan%26#039;s jobless rate was tied for second-highest in the U.S.

Do we really want liberals to control the FEDERAL government????

I have clients all over the country. One common theme is unemployment. In Texas, Arkansas, Arizona and the Carolinas it%26#039;s too low. In the rust belt it%26#039;s too high.

Michigan is plagued with three things. It was geared up for one industry, the automobile industry that had no competition, and now that it does is dying.

Organized labor that pushed salaries up artificially because the industries were profitable; now it is choking the industries to death, sending them overseas or contracting them to states where labor doesn%26#039;t control every aspect. People who lose their job can%26#039;t afford to take a lower paying jobs, but the days of overinflated salaries for non-skilled have passed. At least in the Rust Belt.

Location; it costs too much to ship goods from Michigan to the rest of the country. That is why the auto industry is relocating to the middle and south of the US (better location and the interstates aren%26#039;t impassable after a snowstorm.)

While Democrats didn%26#039;t cause these conditions, they are not prepared to take the necessary action to fix them. They get stuck on their entitlement programs and think throwing money at the unemployed or investing in the cities is what is needed. It makes no sense fixing cities if the tax base isn%26#039;t there to sustain it. Create the jobs, stimulate the economy and the money filters down into the programs they are pissing money away on now.

Turn off the Fox News Channel, fire up your dormant brain cells, and do some research for the candidate, regardless of party, who is going to improve conditions, and vote for him or her!

Part of the reason for this is high gas prices. Detroit was selling tons of large vehicles and the sales have fallen off. You need to move to an energy state like Texas where high energy costs are a boon to the economy. Liberal domestic spending has gone wild over the last several years. You would think conservatives would want these peoples heads on a platter. I guess their true nature is showing - finally got you%26#039;re Republican majorities.|||I do not want liberals in charge. Liberal Democrats are the following:

*Socialists

*Weak on fighting terror, I don%26#039;t care how they spin it

*Want to raise your taxes

*They are in the pocket of the teachers unions

*They fight Republicans and appease terrorists

*They spawned the Anti American PC movement

*Many of them actively root for us to lose in Iraq to score political points

*They actually feel they are smarter than us and want to run our lives

*They enslave blacks and poor people with their welfare programs and buy their votes
