When can freeloading be considered a good thing?

In Michigan, the unemployment rate is the highest in the country, but I see %26quot;HELP WANTED%26quot; signs all over. Is it morally acceptable to live off of welfare, not because you need it, but because you are able to be lazy and get %26quot;free money%26quot;?

This is a problem across the country. I am not opposed to helping disabled people. I am not against helping someone while they are in between jobs because their job got outsourced or their company closed. I do have a problem paying taxes so lazy people can sit and do nothing but rack in money. I have worked since I was fifteen and apparently that was stupid because if I get hurt or sick I get a huge bill on top of my insurance premiums. If I wasn%26#039;t working all free. My neighbor admits not finding a job because he has no need to work the government provides all he needs. Something needs to change so working tax paying Americans aren%26#039;t paying for the lazy ones.

Freeloading is not a good thing, true. However on the most part people are not living %26quot;high off the hog%26quot; with welfare. Sometimes it may be the ONLY way for somebody to be able to get affordable medical care. For the most part these are people well below the poverty line, barely subsisting on the amount of food stamps and money given to them, not getting to live well while %26quot;sitting on their butts%26quot;.|||Interesting point of view and I agree. I%26#039;m so sick and tired of people who are very capable of working living off the government. I used to be a Special Investigator that caught people working while on welfare and on workers compensation. In all of the time I had this job, I found one person legit.
