George W. Bush put a stop on Partial Birth Abortion. His Patriot Act has stopped many of Terrorist Plots. My hard earned money goes a bit further. The Unemployment rate is down lower than it has been in years. The Democrats have been after him since day one, calling him Hitler, murderer, idiot, etc., yet he has held his temper and has kept them at bay. The two Supreme Court Judges he appointed was also a good thing.

Yes and no to a lot of your points:
Partial Birth Abortion: I am against partial birth abortion but on the Federal level I think abortion is more of a States%26#039; Rights issue than a moral issue; therefore, I believe that it is an encroachment of 10th Amendment. The issue needs to be resolved by 50 Governors and 50 State Legislatures.
Patriot Act: this is a big question mark for me and everybody else. If thwarted terrorist plots can be attributed to the Patriot Act, then I would agree that it is a good thing. Some of the major components of it are excellent, such as tearing down %26quot;the wall%26quot; between protective government agencies.
Money Goes A Bit Further: it depends on how much gasoline you buy. Unfortunately, I don%26#039;t think the oil shock has completely resonated throughout the economy.
Unemployment: I give Bush partial credit for this thanks to his tax cuts. I am generally apprehensive to give politicians credit for the accomplishments of the free market.
Democrats: Nothing is sweeter than watching them squirm. I%26#039;m not sure that Bush is that even-tempered and principled to ignore their criticism. I would point-out the Bush-Kennedy education bill and the Immigration Bill fiasco.
Supreme Court: Bush appointed two astoundingly qualified Justices. Kudos President Bush. On the other hand, what was he thinking with the Harriet Miers nomination.
I give Bush credit where it is due, but on the whole I think he is the most liberal President this country has ever seen. I think he is a disgrace to the Republican Party, conservative principles and anyone who believes in limited government. He has increased the size and scope of government more expansively than LBJ, Nixon (indisputably liberal), Carter, Bush 41 (with his ADA disgrace) and Clinton.

There are always good and bad things about a president, unfortunately this one%26#039;s problems have been highlighted in front of the country. I think that Pres Bush has his good days and bad just like everyone else.|||I do a little.
But im a conservative and i do not like him very much.
He has done a few good things.
But there is much more that he should be very embarrassed about.|||No, I respected him when I voted for him and worked on his campaigns in my home state.|||He is a good man and history will judge him better then the political hacks on the left today do.|||Nope my respect for him remains as it always has. He could walk on water and liberals would complain about it.|||No but that is probably because I don%26#039;t agree with his banning of partial birth abortions or the tactics allowed by the Patriot Act. As for the economy and unemployment those are historically circular events and are constantly changing.|||nope. but the employment thing is good.
when you have a career like him, you need better public speaking skills.
o yeah. and im pro choice.|||You%26#039;ve been living in one of Bin-Laden%26#039;s old caves, haven%26#039;t you?|||My opinion is unchanged|||President Bush has done some good things, but, he has done a lot of things wrong. It does not change my opinion of him in any way knowing that.|||you mention him holding his temper, like it%26#039;s a positive trait. That should be a given, for a man in his position.
3 soldiers die everyday in Iraq...............I think there is your problem.
And the dollar is at an all time low.|||No I do not. Bush didn%26#039;t do anything about abortions; the Patriot is an unconstitutional travesty no loyal American supports.
Bush is also a perjurer--he took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution and instead he has tried to subvert it.
And he has run up deficits that are wrecking our economy. Real wages have fallen, tens of thousands of people are losing their homes.
And he has the blood of over 3600 American soldiers on his hands--as surely as if he had shot themhimself--for no reason but his lies.
How do his supporters sleep at night? You have to wonder at their lack of any moral sensibility.|||Man you came into the game late didn%26#039;t you.
It was the republicans that start the hash slinging and especially the Hitler name calling.
If I%26#039;m not mistaken it was dick f u the vice who started it.
Funny how unprofessional he is.
Bush approves though.
Loosers|||All of what you say, is only one%26#039;s person%26#039;s opinion, and not fact, and no, I%26#039;ll never have respect for a man like him.
.|||nope i still disapprove of him altogether.
but one good thing is that he has utterly destroyed the republican party.
now that i respect him for...|||No sure don%26#039;t.|||no way. him an the VP should be taken out of office they make there own laws as they go along each day something bad comes out of Washington about them
